Indeed. It's ridiculous to assume one phenotype especially in an interstellar power.Well from the various appearances of the Gorn (TOS, ENT, the skeleton, the extragalactic ones in the Kelvin timeline) there seem to be a number of different racial subtypes.
Did someone say...

The only firm cannon that matters when it comes to the history of the Gorn.
That was it. That happened in the video game.It was? Could you be more specific?
The only mention I recall of Gorn in Into Darkness was McCoy making a remark about performing a C-section on a pregnant Gorn. That's it.
I do not recall any mention of the Gorn's place of origin in that film.
Serves him right that the interiors of the Enterprise looked better in the game than in his movie.Especially since this particular video game was disowned by Abrams who blamed it for being the reason STID wasn't well received by the fans.
Assuming you're serious, it's actually very short and simple. I would suggest you find the "despecialised" editions, so as to watch the original versions without the later "edits".I might watch Star Wars one day, I have never seen it… I wouldn’t know where to begin though as I hear that the universe is quite expansive and complicated!
I am always serious, unless I make it clear that I am joking.Assuming you're serious, it's actually very short and simple. I would suggest you find the "despecialised" editions, so as to watch the original versions without the later "edits".
So at least watch the original trilogy: Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.
No, seriously, do that.
I disagree. That means watching movies made in the 2000s before those made in the 70s/80s, which can be jarring in more ways than one. Besides, watching the prequels is far from necessary.I wouldn’t bother. The special editions are fine.
What I would do is watch them in chronological order as not as many people have done 1-6 that way and so you would get a unique perspective.
I don't think the latter is true if you're watching Star Trek Voyager, or Star Trek Discovery starting with season 4.The difference between Star Wars and Star Trek is that in Star Wars you're fighting the man and in Star Trek you are the man.
Yeah, watching the Prequels before the Original Trilogy just does not work. The Originals are clearly the ones that introduce and explain everything, while the Prequels assume you're already familiar wit the world and its setting. That means watching movies made in the 2000s before those made in the 70s/80s, which can be jarring in more ways than one.
As for the special editions, I just find their alterations silly and distracting. Better to watch the original form, where the various effects fit with one another.
I don’t agree with that at all. I think you could easily watch the prequels first. Some people must have done it back in the day.Yeah, watching the Prequels before the Original Trilogy just does not work.
