The false story held for months. Maybe a year. It's better than you are giving it credit for being just becuase it eventually broke,
I just feel like it was bound to break. What did they expect to happen giving an Agent, whose job is to find the truth, false memories that don't line up with reality? What was wrong with giving him memories of a slow recovery or something more realistic than just waking up in Tahiti?
