Given all the internal politics going on at the studio itself, I'd rather nobody try to make deals for extra episodes. Guaranteed they'd come with strings attached from the new ombudsman.

I know Alex Kurtzman vouches for David Ellison being a Star Trek fan.

His studio did help finance 2x of the JJ Abrams Trek Movies.
