If you really want to FREAK Star Trek fans out, use the correct English sentence structure:

How about "Star Trek: These Are the Voyages"? There's bound to be some great nostalgia around that title.

That is an opinion that makes perfect sense. An individual personal opinion about a character/ actor or the combination when they are lead of a show is a vastly superior reasons for not watching a show then dozens of utterly irrational things I have read over the last week.
Oh, that's unfortunate. It's like me with Lower Decks but my reasons are that zany comedy Trek doesn't interest me. Always unfortunate when you don't find a solid reason to watch your favourite franchise.

I don't blame you on that. If the lead of the show is that unappealing spare yourself, I agree.

By now I'm actulaly pretty exited for Thursday.
I mean, judging by DISC he has very little in common with the guy from the Cage. But in my opinion that's a positive thing.

When he was announced for 2nd season Discovery I was extremely worried. The only thing at that time I had seen him in was that god awful Marvel's Inhumans (boy that was a shitty show). And his performance did absolutely nothing for me at all. I thought he had the charisma of a brick.
But someone recommended Hell on Wheels, and since hey Colm's in it, lets give that a chance. And I LOVED him in that. So I was now willing to give him a chance on Discovery. And for the most part I really liked what he brought.
I mean I seriously disliked very early Jean Luc Picard, but hell he ended up being one of my favorite characters in Trek (certainly my favorite lead).
