Hey hey, goodbyeNah to the idea and nah to the Section 31 series concept itself. Just...nah.

Picard is filmed in another country on the other side of the continentMight just be easier to put her in Picard's time. Share all the props and uniforms. Also Picard has at best 2 more seasons left and I think they are going to keep playing in that setting for awhile.
Probably not. They will want to size things for their cast and storage is expensive. They will likely need some of those uniforms and props for the Georgiou Section 31 show. Provided she returns to that time period. Which who knows if that will be the case.
Plus crossovers. Here is a good way to see Garak again.Honestly that's a better idea. Just have Emperor Georgiou show up around 2400 and in a time period when Picard and others would know about the existence of the Mirror Universe and have more resources to deal with someone of her nature and origin.

That’s what the DSC uniforms look like when they take off the collar. The collars worn by the science crew in "The Trouble With Edward(SHO)" are a hundred times better than the asymmetrical tab. They're actual symmetrical and smooth collars that are the same color as the Baby Blue science uniforms.
They were custom made in Season 2. There’s some texture difference between the two. Plus the shoulder braids aren’t metallic.but custom made rather than dying the DSC unis with TOS colors.
In theory yes. But imagine there are more problems than just sticking it in a box and giving it to the FedEx driver.Yes it is. Shouldn't be too hard to share props and uniforms across the continent. It's not like they have to deal with the Pony Express or anything.
And you have had good experiences with mail services?Yes it is. Shouldn't be too hard to share props and uniforms across the continent. It's not like they have to deal with the Pony Express or anything.
What's described there is no different than in the 80s and 90s.Tested has a video showing the costumes up close:
They talk about how they're tailored to perfectly fit the actors. It's been two years since they were last used and so the actors have probably lost or gained some weight and the old ones won't fit as well as they used to. We also see in the video that some have some noticeable wear and tear. So I wouldn't read much into the fact that they're being sold.
It's possible that the uniforms will be different. I know costume designers, they love to change things. But the auction isn't proof that they'll be different.
BTW, don't read the comments on that video. Everyone's outraged at the fact that a Youtube channel dared to cover modern Star Trek in a positive light.

The logistics of that would be enough for anyone to have anxiety attacks. Coordinating schedules, counting on them showing up, and hoping they do. All that time and effort when making them in house would probably be more effective.IIRC, shipping the Black Lightning costume from Atlanta to Vancouver for the Crisis crossover had the folks on BL fraught with worry.
It's a lot easier to share when you're on the same lot like it was in the Berman Era with multiple shows and films drawing from same the resources.
