It's softer than this, but that's a good example. It felt TNG movies had to bend over backwards to account for the dramatic changes in the Star Trek universe while still wanting to tell a story completely unrelated to it. So you have Worf and the Defiant fighting the Borg in First Contact and they mention the Dominion in Insurrection. But, other than that, the uniforms made as much an impact as anything else.

But I do agree it's the next closest and the ties to each other were kind of cool.

How within the greater Star Wars Continuity did Lucus' stooges explain Luke, Artoo and C3P0 guest-starring on the Muppet Show?

You haven't seen the episode (recently)?

Mark and Luke were both there.

    They are cousins.

So if S.H.I.E.L.D. is down, what about S.W.O.R.D.?

Meanwhile, who owns the bus if S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't exist, and more importantly who is paying to refuel it?

(Yahoo answers is feeding me facts.)

    1000 gallons per 24 hours.

US $2.84 (That really doesn't seem right. But maybe jet fuel is almost cheaper than regular fuel because it's used in such massive quantities.)

So almost 3 grand a day to keep the bus flying.

Although maybe they don't have to worry about that while all the black sites are still carrying depot surpluses?

And by the way, it's spelled Potomac, not Patomic. I just remembered somebody misspelled the word.

Nope. Worf didn't miss any episodes of DS9.

However, there was a bit of a crossover between Star Trek 6 and the Spock episodes of TNG.

The Simpsons movie had the biggest impact on the Show.
They almost destroyed Springfield and had a special opening sequence in the episode after, showing the ruins.
And they killed off a character they even had to remove from the credits, I think.

^They killed off Dr. Nick, but he has mysteriously appeared a few times since then.

It seems odd that they would give an artist spoiler info and allow him to share it publicly in a poster before the episode airs, but if that is indeed what they did, here's what it looks like to me:

That's what I immediately thought as soon as I saw the film.

Zola's computer consciousness uses his insider knowledge of SHIELD secrets as well as a predictive algorithm to anticipate HYDRA's future enemies, which was one of the long-running rumors we had going here, especially with Coulson's frequent denial of psychics.

The multiple computer screens of the fake Clairvoyant mirror the multiple screens in Zola's underground bunker, and he might continue to survive on a flash drive given the USB hub on the table near his screen, showing recent use.

In this case, I think Hand possibly just works for him this time, or has perhaps been convinced that Coulson is working for him through some kind of frame job to make the SHIELD personnel turn on each other.

The fact that the article posted on the last page says the AoS staff knew the basic plot of CA:TWS all along certainly makes Zola as the Clairvoyant all the more plausible.

It also has a nice little (possibly unintentional) double meaning in that one of the most recognized UAVs in use by the military is the MQ-9 Reaper, although it's different from the jet powered UAVs in that awesome opener there.

Off-topic, but how so? The Defiant was present during the roll call at the start of the battle, survived a running battle with the Cube for however many light years it is from the Typhon Sector to Earth and however long it took for the Enterprise to travel from the Neutral Zone to Earth, continued fighting throughout the last stand at Earth which saw many larger and likely newer vessels destroyed, survived largely intact, and was repaired and ready to serve again at DS9 soon after. Seems like a pretty good showing to me.

I just noticed a slight name change in the trailer video for the next episode. Its now Marvel's Agents of SHIELD: UPRISING. And notice Captain America's shield symbol flash by before the usual SHIELD symbol?

I think it was "we're spread thin because of the recent Borg attack."

It's been ages since I've seen the show and I only ever saw the movie once, but didn't the X-Files movie also take place between seasons? The only other example I can think of is South Park and that hardly counts.

The Defiant only survived because Ira Behr threatened to ignore First Contact if it was destroyed.
