Very ironic considering I only today mentioned how ‘Lift us Where Suffering Can Not Reach’ reminded me of Final Fantasy!Pike's new girlfriend for this episode

Well, we all have a tailpipe…I experience serene gusts of wind every day. Nothing wrong with that...
I can see that this episode title is going to give both Final Fantasy fans and those with toilet humour a lot of fun over the next week or so…My serene gusts cleared out an entire store.
And to pass gaseous anomalies in a serene squall like fashion…We live to serve.
My serene gusts cleared out the break room where I work. Twice. My serene gusts cleared out an entire store.
The Gorn are the play things of the Metron Fellowship, used by them to test other species in a diplomatic aswell as potentially confrontational ‘Kobayashi Maru’ type scenarios before they themselves open diplomatic relations. If Pike leads a fleet to fight the Gorn, then he is engaging with this species in the wrong way… he might actually fail the Metron ‘trial by combat’ test *twice* if this were to be the case, which beats Kirk’s record. But at least Pike got his promotion as a result… the Metron’s will *not* be opening diplomatic channels with the Federation for at least a thousand years though…i've been thinking about Pike and his promotion to Fleet captain and I'm wondering if they're going to make it where the Gorn become such a threat that Pike does something that repels the Gorn and Starfleet Command is so impressed that they promote him to Fleet Captain or they'll retcon the whole Fleet Captain and make him an Admiral. they did it with April going from Commodore to Admiral.
This should actually be titled “Gorn with the Serene Squall”
