LMFAO

So if they started a Pike series from the very beginning (when he took command from April) would SNW Season 1 be considered Season 9 or Season 10?

3 for 3 - I REALLY like SNW a lot so far!
What a fun combo of: "sci-fi story of the week" interwoven with a "message of the week" and character spotlights and arcs.
Can't wait for more, especially love all the "NEW" characters and I'm including (Una, M'Benga, Chapell) and not just Laan; Ortegas, Hemmer in them. Even the lecagy Pike/Spock/Uhura ones are interesting for a change.

My opinion of SNW is that I'm sold on it. For me, "Ghosts of Illyria" did for SNW what "Context Is for Kings" did for DSC. I'm finally passed the "we'll see... " stage.

Meant genuinely, but that is a ringing endorsement for me. I suppose I'd better watch it, because so far I've been on the same page as you in terms of SNW.

I like that after only three episodes, I can name all the characters shown in that Tweet pic without a second thought.

(I'm still struggling occasionally with all the DISCOVERY characters) :(

Instead of "Char," can we call you "Charts"?

There's a very special place where that kind of data can be stored ...

But I'm not sure he'd be able to let it pass if I shoved it in there. ;)

Same here. It speaks to the level of personal investment we've been allowed to develop by the storytelling. Much of Discovery's bridge crew are virtually indistinguishable from the rest of their bridge stations.

I wish I knew what Charts' endgame was.

He shows us enough charts and we say, "Yeah, you're right! We shouldn't like DSC, PIC, or SNW! Screw New Trek!"? Well, no, it doesn't work like that. Other people don't decide what I like, I decide what I like.

Now, I happen to like SNW and look forward to it every week. But, if I didn't, it sure as Hell wouldn't have had anything to do with whatever Charts posted. And if it were just charts that would be one thing. But "#2 is bad!" and the like is pure spin.

The only thing I've learned from all the charts is that now I know that if I'd been old enough to vote in 1992 (or 1996 for that matter), I definitely wouldn't have voted for Ross Perot. I'd be like, "Enough with the damn charts already!"
