They have two and a half seasons left. No need to rush things.

Really only two seasons worth of episodes. The last season is only 6 episodes.

15 per season would be a fantastic change of pace in the streaming era.

I would even be happy with 13. Remember when 13 seemed like the set number for many shows? Then so many people ruined it by complaining about filler episodes.

There is less than a true seasons worth of story left 21 episodes. With many of the episodes already planned out and we know at least one is a puppet episode next year.. ....the last 6 episodes are literally geared up to finish up the story of Pikes Enterprise journeys. That was the only reason why Paramount allowed the last 6 eps.
