They can always use ethical Andorian tactics instead (or any of the other species that make up the Federation)I think The War Within probably refers to the debate over whether or not the Federation should use unethical Terran tactics in order to win.
You know, the classic 'this makes us no better than our enemy', or 'the price of victory is our soul'.
Indeed. I think Diane Carey's non-canon novel Final Frontier (1988 and not to be confused with ST5 which used the same title) was genius in this regard. Using ideas from that would be great to flesh out S2 (even better if they'd used it for S1 but too late now).I think The War Within probably refers to the debate over whether or not the Federation should use unethical Terran tactics in order to win.

I raised this as a solution to having a timeline reset. But I acknowledged your point that this relies on a LOT of people keeping schtum on the MU, once Starfleet makes knowledge of it classified. That (as I said elsewhere) is a WEAK argument and about the only thing to be said for it is that it beats a "reset" via time travel, but that's a low bar to clear....the writers have pushed themselves into a corner here and no solution is going to be good, merely, possibly "less stupid".How is Starfleet going to keep the Discovery crew quiet? Have them 'disappear' in the heat of war? Very convenient.
Androids?And the Androids
Maybe they ended up in that white universe with black stars where everyone ages backwards.
I can't help but think it's a multi-verse... not just MU and PU. Maybe Stamets was worried about what the universe would be like if they didn't get back with the cloaking intel and ended up taking them to a universe where that was a reality (although nine months in the future to boot). Doubtful but it would be sad to just see two universes with all the possibilities out there.
Section 31 will reset their memories lolI raised this as a solution to having a timeline reset. In TOS.Androids?
I guess a streaming show doesn't have to worry about going up against the Super Bowl.
Tilly being stoned explains pretty much everything.War?
But Tilly definitely lights up. That’s probably why she acted odd when first meeting Burnham. She had just smoked and was sneaking back to her quarters.
It's looking very likely, that assuming they can use the spore drive again. But which everybody is getting![]()
In TOS.
Well, if Isaacs has a season contract his name will remain there for episodes 14 and 15. Doesn't matter that he doesn't appear.
Yes, he was. The credits for the first two episodes listed everyone from the main cast, despite the fact only two of them (Sonnequa Martin-Green and Doug Jones) were in those episodes. So yeah, Jason Isaacs will still be listed in the remaining episodes. Just like in season one of TNG, Denise Crosby continued to be listed in the opening credits for the episodes which aired after Skin of Evil. Was he billed in the first two episodes? I can't remember.
