Info for FactCheck "Finding a Composer for Star Trek 1st Pilot" (March 15, 2014), found under Wilbur Hatch. (1) Harry Sukman also scored PLANET EARTH (1974) for GR. (2) "Dominic Tronteri" is actually Dominic Frontiere, OUTER LIMITS composer. (3) "David Raxton" is spelled David Raksin (LAURA composer).-- ZapBrannigan

Sukman had a long association with Roddenberry. After Trek, he scored both Planet Earth (1974) and Genesis II (1973), both for Roddenberry. He was also slated to score two episodes of Star Trek during the 1967-68 season, but ended up not doing them for reasons unknown. I didn't indicate these when I first wrote this piece, but I have updated it now to include this information.

Regarding Frontiere and Raksin, I intentionally left their names misspelled in my transcription of this document, but linked to their proper IMDb profiles. The only composer I could not identify is whoever wrote "The Man From Iphania" :)
