The only thing of interest prior to the climax was Aleida's continued hunt for the mole (and I loved the Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy name drop!) with her finally realizing the horrible truth. The question now is what will she do? She's going to need real concrete proof to go against Margo and who exactly does she go to with it? I do wonder if she'll confront Margo, just as Margo initially thought was going to do in this episode, or will she decide that won't be a good idea. Either way, as I said before, this is going to break her heart.
And in normal circumstances, that makes perfect sense. If I was in Aleida's position, I would not have gone to Margo. I would have called the FBI field office in Houston, TX, with my concerns.
Great news: Renewed for Season 4!/
You're missing your cueNooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
How can you have the guy who lost his toy dog then leave this guy unsupervised.
Yeaaahhhh...that really bothered me. Ed specifically called out Danny's pill-popping behavior...and didn't bother to take those pills from him? That's some shitty leadership right there.Think Ed's biggest mistake was not making sure that that all of danny's pills had been taken away and that he didn't have access to anymore.
Watching this episode reminded me of some of the stupid moments of 24 throughout it's run. Danny is almost like the 2022 version of Kim, only probably dumber and he won't run into Cougers (Maybe). How the hell can you have this important scientific mission and keep a guy who threatened to hit the commander and went ape-shit on someone's toy dog in an important role. How can you have the guy who lost his toy dog then leave this guy unsupervised.
I'm starting to see some early Season 2 crawl back into this show. They are on Mars, yet it feels like they are on Earth with all this personal drama. This show should have a sense of wonder but it sacrifices it for soap opera drama or cliche affairs. I think my favorite storyline right now is Alaida's because Margo was almost a mother figure to her. This is a betrayal I hope they write really well because it has a chance to be the best thing about this season.
As for the Conspiracy Theorists storyline, why did they need a badge to steal a statue? I didn't understand that storyline at all, and this scene where Jimmy is reading the letter is supposed to mean something but it doesn't really mean anything yet. Hopefully it gets more interesting next week, or they drop it all together.
Possibly he through that wasn't really much that dunny-boy couldn't screw up in the few minutes he took him to run the calculations (which I get the impression were required prior to penetration).
Ed had pretty much punted the shit to the lowest totem on the pole.
Think Ed's biggest mistake was not making sure that that all of danny's pills had been taken away and that he didn't have access to anymore.
