I could have sworn we had a thread for this when the first season aired, but I can't find it, so I guess I'll start a new one.
Netflix's One Piece is an adaptation of the hugely successful manga and anime, One Piece, which was created by Eiichir Oda and has released 1170 individual manga chapters since it started in 1997, and 1155 anime episodes since it started in 1999.
The live action series' first season was released in August 2023, and the second season will be released on March 10 of this year.
The subtitle for Season 2 is Into The Grand Line

I really enjoyed Season 1 and I've been looking forward to Season 2, which is looking like it's going to be at least as good as Season 1. One thing I love is that they're keeping all of the manga/anime craziness, with the characters designs, powers, and fights and things like that. So many other adaptations like this try to ground things, and make them more look like your standard American production, but I'm glad they didn't do that with this.

is prepared... There's a huge male contingent in the One Piece community massively obsessed with that character and I'm guessing since being announced as a casting choice she's probably already encountered a lot of shit.
