He could have been from the mirror universe but to do a complete 180 and turn on everyone was poor writing. It wasn’t like the Empress he was going up against was a nice person.
Anyway, I hope we can get Prime Lorca in SNW. He doesn’t need to be in the mirror universe. They can have some fun with that

I actually found Lorca's twist in the mirror-verse exciting and then enjoyed connecting all the hints from his introduction to that reveal. I was entertained. Of course I had no investment in whether or not he was a hero. I just found the character charismatic and intriguing. But not a nice man (even when I thought he was prime universe).

a conceit for the episode, and not good data. At the very least 1/3 of the crew (143) are in the saucer at all times because they are asleep in their quarters.

I was happily surprised over this past weekend to see my local CW channel showing the 30-minute SNW Inside the Series that's streaming! It felt great to watch TOS-looking Trek on regular TV!
