Fun fact: we also saw what appeared to be Starbase 11 or another Federation planet with a similar skyscape. Those buildings seen in Burnham's line of vision were classic TOS-style buildings.
The Preservers don't modify or do much of any thing with the peoples they save. It's right there in the name, they preserve them and their cultures. Their worlds are "nature reserves".
If I was going to point a finger at someone for populating Vulcan, it would be Sargon's people.
Since we also saw Janus VI and Starbase 11, which IIRC didn't have any connection to what Lorca was saying, I assumed that everything Michael saw were references to TOS episodes, and so it was Amerind.Considering "Context is for Kings" showed us an image of what is obviously a Preserver obelisk on one of the moons of Andor, I have a feeling your headcanon is going to be test fired before this series ends.
That explains it. I've never played those games.
Wow... That was fast. Very cool designs close-up. Nice attention to detail.
I really want a replica of that phaser. Probably my favorite design now, on par with the TFF/TUC combat phaser.
That would mean that cold, calculating Sarek adopted Michael just for that express purpose.
No one said they were good at their job....In the sense of a philanthropist (philzootropist?) today taking a bunch of penguins, swallows and pelicans and dropping them in a fake jungle, yes. Apparently, the Preservers in "Paradise Syndrome" had managed to destroy their samples of at least three distinct native American cultures by forcing them to live together in an environment that was not native to any of them.
That would be pretty cool if it turns out to be true!Crazy theory I saw online related to this episode

The Mass Effect games are solid, and tell a great sci-fi story (except Andromeda). Definitely worth the time.
Played them all, each one is great like Fallout 4.Never played them myself. Always been more into the ancient fantasy game model. Skyrim, Dragon Age, Fable & the like, but I know they are quite popular in the gaming community and there are clearly far worse things from which to derive inspiration out there.
If you haven't seen SFDebris' reviews you're really missing out.I've no idea what [sfdebris rating] is.
I expect to see blue eyed and blonde Star Trek humans with the surname Singh, Shah, Patel, Khan and Ojimadu. With a name like "Cornwall" it's certainly possibly that they had intended to cast a Brit in the part at one point.
Probably. Logic and compassion do not always sleep in the same bed. That would mean that cold, calculating Sarek adopted Michael just for that express purpose.
The rain in Spain stays mainly on Vulcan's ForgeBy Jove, I think you've got it.
And by that I mean the onset of dementia.![]()
