One of the knee jerk reactions that plague fans.People continue to behave as if time travel is some kind of aberration in Star Trek. On the contrary, it was not part of the initial concept of the show but by the end of the first season of TOS was ensconced as part of the mythology to be returned to again, and again, for the very good reason that a good percentage of Trek's best remembered and most successful episodes have been time travel stories.
