Spoilers Strange New Worlds General Discussion Thread

I want to see an episode where they separate the saucer. The Connie was always supposed to be able to do that.

Seeing these two together makes me very happy.

It was not always supposed to be usable again.
If I remember correctly, it's a one and done while in space, but supposedly the two sections can be reconnected once they are brought back to a spacedock.
As long as both sections are viable that is.

I wish they didn’t shoehorn Kirk as much into the show. I don’t want to watch him being a captain. This is supposed to be Pike’s show.
He's not in that many episodes. And the only times he's been seen as a captain were in alternate realities. Now it does look like he will be taking command of a starship in an upcoming episode. But seems to be not the Enterprise and an emergency situation.

TrekCore has bunch of images from the season, they're captioned with what episodes they come from. We're going to see the new science lab set right from Episode 1.

'A Space Adventure Hour' is the holodeck murder mystery episode.

There's no images from 9 or 10

He's not a captain usually, unless alternate timeline.

And Pike still dominates the show as a leader and a mentor.
Perhaps, but your take is somewhat undercut by SNW having only 10 episodes per season, so limited screentime is more apparent, as with Mount's time off for family in the last season.

I think Kirk is only in 2 episodes this season. Space Adventure Hour, and whatever one the Farragut is in that we see in the trailer, which I'm guessing is either 9 or 10

The Farragut one might be episode 7. But I would wager 400 quatloos on Kirk being in the finale too
Oh I think that's Episode 6, "The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail". That's where HotRod's image is from.

They appear to be on the Farragut in the image, look at the brown panel on the wall behind them, plus the scorch marks on the wall.

Same episode where they're communicating via phones.
I'm guessing an attack cripples the Farragut and also knocks out internal communication on the Enterprise for some reason.

Then what episode is the one that looks like Black Mirror? Is that the murder mystery?
