I thought the Kelvin bridge set design was a very good one that I wish they had used for the Enterprise in ST09.Best Starfleet ship of the entire Kelvin Timeline trilogy.
As soon as they find a store that actually looks like the Bridge of the Enterprise then they might have a case, dubious though it might be.(I have never been a fan of the Abrams Enterprise I-Bridge. Apple should have sued.)
I do see your point. There is far too much color in an Apple store for it the be JJ's bridge.Nothing in AbramsTrek looks like an Apple store.
Why does no one who says this notice that one of the most basic things about the look of their stores is that the designers don't employ curves in any major way? Or any "organic" shapes, for that matter.
Is it just that the whole idea of widescreen digital displays - you know, like modern TVs - is so alien to Trek fans used to old-style video aspect ratios that they can see nothing else in the films?

Oh don't be such a meanie.
Yeah, it's a drive by criticism that lacks any sort of substance. While the Kelvin Timeline Enterprises bridge was never my favourite, I've never understood the criticism that it lacked colour or looked like an Apple store.
I guess I beat (les) you to the punch.I am amazed and astonished that a) someone else thought of this joke and that b) they beat me to it!
Actually, I was going to post "It doesn't LOOK blueish!"
And your hat?I guess I beat (les) you to the punch.
I'll get me coat
