Best Starfleet ship of the entire Kelvin Timeline trilogy.

I thought the Kelvin bridge set design was a very good one that I wish they had used for the Enterprise in ST09.

(I have never been a fan of the Abrams Enterprise I-Bridge. Apple should have sued. )

As for the SNW Enterprise Bridge set, it's really become my favorite even over the original TOS Bridge set design which I still really love.

As soon as they find a store that actually looks like the Bridge of the Enterprise then they might have a case, dubious though it might be.

Nothing in AbramsTrek looks like an Apple store.

Why does no one who says this notice that one of the most basic things about the look of their stores is that the designers don't employ curves in any major way? Or any "organic" shapes, for that matter.

Is it just that the whole idea of widescreen digital displays - you know, like modern TVs - is so alien to Trek fans used to old-style video aspect ratios that they can see nothing else in the films?

I do see your point. There is far too much color in an Apple store for it the be JJ's bridge.

Perhaps not an Apple store but circa 2009 more like an Apple product.

While the Kelvin Timeline Enterprises bridge was never my favourite, I've never understood the criticism that it lacked colour or looked like an Apple store.

Granted, I'll admit that it's blindingly bright.

Yeah, it's a drive by criticism that lacks any sort of substance.

Having watched and played some of the bridge emulators for this bridge I definitely appreciated the interactivity and design of this bridge.

I love the extra consoles added on the Kelvinverse Enterprise bridge. As-is, there's a lot of empty space on the SNW one.

It's still really cool though, and I'm sure they don't want to pay extras to man any extra consoles (which is why we only got side consoles on the Enterprise-D in Generations) sooooo...

I liked the first year but I was not anywhere near as into this as the rest of you guys. Tomorrow, Lost in Translation, Under the Cloak of War, and Hegemony were solid I guess. The rest I forgot about as soon as I saw it and it felt like a chore to sit through. The "experimental" episodes (Lower Decks crossover and musical) were unwatchable. At least the phrase "I'm a huge Travis Mayweather fan" was spoken into existence.

Still like Wesley as Kirk a lot and with them throwing in Scotty too there's no way they're not going to shift this into a TOS reboot at some point.
