Both timelines have everything in common up until 2233. So unless they say or show otherwise, the USS Kelvin in 2233 would've looked the same. If they show the Kelvin in SNW and it looks different, it could be explained away as 25 years have passed and the ship was refitted.
My impression was that the Kelvin would appear the same. Also, the uniforms segue fairly well from ENT jumpsuits to the Kelvin solid color and then to the DSC's suits.

As much as I like TOS, I don't like how it's been weaponized online and treated as if God created it. It's not perfect, nothing is, so I'm looking forward to seeing the ways in which SNW can improve upon it.
Indeed. Some sacred cows are worth slaughtering and this is one. TOS will always be the oddball because it is so different. from what came eventually with the films and TNG and going forward.

The forum is a stage and the posters are performers. Performers who know the script because they keep practicing. They're so good that when we shoot the movie, they have it down in one take. It's easy when you practice the same exact play month in and month out, year in and year out. With an occasional updating of the names. Though sometimes some of the performers get bored. So, to spice it up, they play the villain.
Hmmm....would this include the moderator of the forum where the show is discussed before it gets its own forum?
