I will believe there is a show when a teaser or trailer is released. Until then, I will remain skeptical.
Ugh... they need to shit or get off the pot with that one.
I hope the show is just called Star Trek and "Enterprise" and "Strange New Worlds" are the titles of the first two episodes.

Cannavale sucks at acting. And he's kind of a douche. They'd never let someone like that play Kirk.
Well, well, well... CaptainXaviofEarth was right after all, Star Trek - Enterprise it is!
They can change, Picard was called Destiny (working title Crosby Street), but in this case I don't think they will. Enterprise (2001-2005) was a failed series from 20 years ago. A new Trek series with that name aboard that iconic ship would be quite logical. The Trekkies know the difference between these shows and the general audience probably don't even know about Archer's Enterprise. So it's fine. Personally I would have called the show something else, but from a commercial point of view, Enterprise makes perfect sense. That ship is the most important character on a Pike show me thinks.
sounds more like kirk just interacted pike briefly. if kirk was serving under pike in a upper level ship-board assignment they would have done more than "met."
Many people searching for it will end up watching Archer instead XD
Others who are curious google it and find all the old hate XD

We'll see. I don't think there will be a lot of confusion at all. They can always rename the original Star Trek - Enterprise to Star Trek - Gazelle.
Oh cmon we all know uhura and Kirk was on the enterprise during the pike era. And anyways the current crop of genius don’t give an F
Good storytelling > slavish adherence to continuity. Always.
Couple of things to note:
#1 PW has made mistakes in the past, including working titles/show names and if a show is/isn't in production...so don't stress about it being called 'Enterprise' or w/e until we get an official announcement
#2 Emre Kaya's 'rumor' articles don't have the best track record, mainly because the majority of their predictions were thrown into chaos after the COVID outbreak
#3 There is no supporting evidence to indicate Jake Cannavale or Kirks character even being in the show
#4 Emre Kaya did leak the Disco episode titles, which have been verified as accurate, however, it's unclear if they posted them before or after being listed out on the WGA website
Bottom line--relax, wait for official announcements before spinning out, and nothing is 100% until it actually is. Dont just trust any source (especially those that start off with the phrase "we have just learned") without doing your own homework. And yes, that includes even me.
