Spoilers Starfleet Academy General Discussion Thread

Between the commemoration wall and the Sisko episode, we have more small universe details to debate.

Sisko was The Emissary so any focus on Bajor doesn't HAVE to have him but it's also not crazy that people still know who he is.

OTOH that wall being almost entirely (entirely?) from 800-900 years ago and from a handful of ships? That's... It pushes the concept past the breaking point. Peter Preston is on that wall!

Clearly John Harriman's reputation recovered after 2293.

Never to late for a Captain Harriman Trek show! Who better to run it than one of the persons who created the character in Ron Moore! This is what billions of Trek fans want!

Harriman already returned in Of Gods and Men. With Koenig, Nichelle, J.G. and Chase!

It's pretty. And it's actually a fun backdrop for fans.

It just makes no sense. I'm annoyed I like it as much as I do.
I was being literal about it being a giant waste of money.

Because each time the wall showed up on screen they were spending tens of thousands of dollars to digitally extend it.

Harriman was also featured heavily in the novels Serpents Among the Ruins and One Constant Star, both from The Lost Era series.
