Yeah, Mirror Worf wasn't evil in DS9, he was a generic Klingon.

It looks like I gave Goldsman and Meyers too much credit in thinking that the idea behind "altering perceptions of the Gorn" in a future encounter was more metaphorical and less pedestrianly literal and unimaginative.
