"Institute for Cultural Advancement" made me think that whoever originally created Khan and his "siblings" were probably trying to make humanity better. Instead of super soldiers, they may have been trying to create leaders who could move our species forward. I guess they actually did, but not the way they had in mind.

I assume it's been built by Adam Soong and a guy or gal named Noonien.

We really need more than just 10 episodes per season. We're getting screwed over by not getting a shot at more per-season quality like this.
But there's always the corrallary that with more eps, there's less production time to shoot and tailor/rewrite (which has IMO allowed them to up the overall quality.

In an interview Robecca Romain said they usually get 12 days to film an episode and if they have good reason that the production manager allows even more (up to another week.) If you have two series sharing the same studio and filming one when the other is off; filming more episodes would reduce the budget per episode and not allow as much time as they get now to shoot them.

At 10 per season, I'll take quality over quantity. If they started dropping the per season episode count below 10, then I'd be annoyed.

But, that's me.

Why Wuhan, China? Khan was established as being from India and if Paramount had the budget for location shoots by all rights that's where this episode should have taken place in. Although the livestreaming blackmail element of the cops might not have been as plausible anymore, was barely plausible as is
I don't follow Hockey but I have Canadian friends that do and I said, "Hey, unlike Baseball you guys have better players, so the Stanley Cup always goes to Canada..."

The response: "Yeah, no. The U.S. teams have more money, so they get most of the top talent from Canada as they (like everyone) go where the money is, so the U.S.teams win with all the Canadian talent..."

Pretty good episode but does history remain changing the date of the eugenic war into the 21st century leaving Khan a child in 2023? or has that been reverted making his war in the 1990's

Pelia thinks you speak with an accent.

Apparently she's never been to Nebraska. We don't have accents there.

Pretty good episode but How is Khan a child in 2023? his war took part in the 1990's.

Sera said there were multiple temporal wars fought over delaying the Eugenics Wars. Obviously Khan's own birth was part of that. The Romulans must have found a way to delay the project that created him.

Sorry I've edited my OG post because I had forgotten about that line - so is everything back to normal or does Khan now remain a 21st century conflict, instead of 1990's.

Now a 21st century conflict, aligning with TNG and Pike's season 1 comments.
