In fairness. Who can make sense of silly American money when it's all basically the same colour?
Well, we tell it apart by - brace yourself - reading the numbers.

Wow a Cage Enterprise model?
Colors aren't much help either, in that circumstance.works fine, if you're not blind
It's engraved in a way so I can feel the difference as well.works fine, if you're not blind
Yes, because Temporal Technology is a zero sum arms race.So because it's not fully enforceable no one should try?
That's some bs right there. Ban Time Travel as soon as possible.
From ST:TNG and on-wards, ST was supposed to be a "Ensemble Show".And Number One is in episodes less so Romijn could spend time with her daughters?
Four years ago I had concerns that Pike would be pushed out of the show using every excuse. Whatever the reason was, my fears now confirmed.
Erase it. Please. All of it. Even the HG Wells stories.Yes, because Temporal Technology is a zero sum arms race.
Either you constantly develop it, and can defend against the most recent developments, or you never existed because the other people who constantly developed it have erased you from existence.
Correct!Yes, because Temporal Technology is a zero sum arms race.
Either you constantly develop it, and can defend against the most recent developments, or you never existed because the other people who constantly developed it have erased you from existence.
I like Time-Travel, and so do many other folks.Erase it. Please. All of it. Even the HG Wells stories.
Just be rid of the damn thing!
Pfft! I bet your money is still made out of paper.Well, we tell it apart by - brace yourself - reading the numbers.![]()
Okay episode, nothing special. The time travel trope is being used way too regularly these days.
I liked the way Sera disintegrated herself to prevent the good guys (or at least La'an) from learning the true nature of the Romulans.
I liked the way they killed Jim Kirk- since it didn't matter. I think it would have had a bigger impact, however, had he survived, and when La'an pushed the button, only she showed back up on her Enterprise and he just vanished into the temporal ether.
The scene with the police was beyond stupid. No license, driving a stolen vehicle, after leading them on a chase, and the cops just give in to the threat of social media? Nuh uh.
I like the almost-nod to the old Voyagers! show, if indeed that is what it was. The device certainly looked and behaved like an advanced Omni. I'm not sure I would have made that connection if someone else hadn't mentioned it in a prior post.
How was Khan only a child here if the EW were supposed to happen thirty years earlier? Shouldn't Khan have been in his 50's at least? I think that was a major botch.
Still don't like Wesley as Kirk, but is is charming enough on his own.
Overall: Meh. Moving on to next week...
Did SNW just give us a better version of the entire Season 2 of Picard in under an hour?
I mean obviously some differences in the ending... but they even had a Guinan ffs.
Thank you for the acknowledgement.I like Time-Travel, and so do many other folks.
We all know how you feel about the subject.
You hate Time Travel Stories with a burning passion.
Kirk: La'an, I'm not going back with you because I'm in love with Pelia and staying here in the 21st century with her.Did SNW just give us a better version of the entire Season 2 of Picard in under an hour?

It never ceases to amaze me when Star Trek fans don't get that given the Enterprise two parter that directly showed us what happens when a race figures out a way to bypass your temporal defenses.Correct!
Be ready to defend your civilization from Temporal Attacks through-out time, or be prepared to hope that nobody wipes you out.
There are SOO many ways to thwart a civilization, including going back and just destroying Earth before your civilization started.
There's a fine line between not getting and not caring. It never ceases to amaze me when Star Trek fans don't get that given the Enterprise two parter that directly showed us what happens when a race figures out a way to bypass your temporal defenses.
