Honestly, at this point, I think it’s fine if they do away with the 1701 number. To me, it was believable up to the enterprise E.

I maybe incorporate 1701 into the registry number and just ditch the end alpha character

Prodigy - For Kids
Lower Decks - For Comedy
Academy - For tweens/teens
Discovery - (Honestly I don't know who this is for)
Picard - Adult drama for Berman era ST fans
SNW - For Classic ST fans

Can we get a show for people that don't like nostalgia and memberberries?

Deep space nine was struggling until they brought Worf on board. Voyager was lagging until they introduced the Borg and enterprise struggled until they began with getting into more of the Romulan stuff.

The short answer is no

In the Disco Era, if I were to show the Enterprise, it would be NCC-371701. It fits the rest of the numbers from what we've seen in the 32nd Century, keeps the "1701", and doesn't look ridiculous. Similar to how the Stargazer in PIC is NCC-82893.

This is precisely what I was meaning, but I couldn’t put it into words. Thank you.

The *actual* "future" of Trek is the series like SNW, SFA and such..that is where Trek is going. This was a farewell, let it be the farewell and move the fuck on

Wallowing in the past is the "future"?

I refuse to accept that. We know little to nothing about the new bridge crew (the La Forge sisters, Mura, Esma, etc.). There's still so much to explore in the 25th century.

Discovery is a failed attempt at a flagship show.

It spawned the Star Trek Hate Industrial Complex.

Alex Kurtzman might be the best villain in Star Trek history.

Yes, yes it is. Because that is what the fans want with the ratings and demonstrates and dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA!

There's still so much to explode in the 25th century.
I want to agree with this but I just...can't right now. The 25th century feels stale already. It makes me sad but I don't want to see Seven, or Jack (especially Jack), or LaForges etc. I just lost interest.

Only because people need a villain. Because that's very much Star Trek's message; hate what you don't agree with.

I like season 3 Seven more than Fenris Ranger Seven. They gave Tuvok a different voice actor - unnerving.

The Borg Queen was one thing I didn't like in the final episode. Guinan would have been nice, for me she was missing in the last episode.
