Since he turned out to be Daniels I imagine a lot of how he dressed and behaved in DSC was probably surface affectation.

When Georgiou asked why Kovich was wearing glasses, his answer was "they make me look smarter." Which some chose to interpret as meaning his glasses are just a fashion accessory.
The 10th Doctor accused the 5th Doctor of the same thing then admitted to doing the same thing himself.

I gave this one a 7 it was good but not great, that's just how I felt everyone else's mileage may vary.
Does leave me feeling a lot of questions. Since this show is more or less post TNG, DS9 etc. if we ever got a live action show in this timeline just how long will that portal remain open. Is it truly there for good so exists in the future time where Disco is as well? Did our present time Federation ever do more exploration with it or not? So many questions.
