Actually there would be no risk of changing the timeline if they evacuated those people to their present since their deaths were assumed but not confirmed.Even when time travel technology was legal, that would have been frowned on.

I'll have to agree with SF Debris interpretation of the Prime Directive and non-interference.
There could be multiple types & sizes of Graviton Ellipse for all we know and they all look different visually (especially color wise). Now the one in Voyager was orange, but reimagined FX and all that.
Butterflies can get a bit tetchy. Watch yourself.Sorry about that, I've asked Agent Daniels to replace the original script with a fanfic I've written before he returned to the future. Evidently, my writing skills aren't as good as I've thought. Didn't consider the butterfly effect either.
Only when they're maleI wish they would stop calling them synths. That was never a thing before that awful Picard show. They’re called androids.
Best part of the episode for me. Gray has such love in his eyes when he looks at Adira...I'm not really liking the Grey/Adira storyline at the moment. It's a little too lovey Dovey for my tastes.
What's the difference between a Android & Synth?I wish they would stop calling them synths. That was never a thing before that awful Picard show. They’re called androids.
But Data’s mother was called an Android, and she looked very human. What's the difference between a Android & Synth?
Data is a Android, but looking at Data, you can easily tell that he's not quite human by basic visual inspection.
But his two daughters are Synths.
Androids don't completely look human?
Soji and her sister look human and can pass basic visual inspection.
Synths are indistinguishable from humans on a visual level?
Maybe it's late 24th century slang starting to take hold within the show / universe? But Data’s mother was called an Android, and she looked very human.
I just don’t like the word. Makes them sound less of a thing than calling them a android
People didn't think that much about words back then, I guess. But Data’s mother was called an Android, and she looked very human.

That line got a blurt laugh from me. Sounds like the sort of line you would hear in Orville/Red Dwarf.”status report?”
“I can’t reach my station”

Why is "The Doctor", who is a Sentient hologram, also considered a photonic life form by certain other holograms in the Delta quadrant?
I’m just getting V’Ger vibes from this anomaly. Probably just trying to find it’s creator.
