My cats are 13 and 14 years old respectively. They're too big and old to get on my shoulder anymore. (*Sighs*) And when they do crawl on me it's to bug me for food.

:( I wish my kitty was that little again!

I know, same! I miss him curling up under my chin. I can't believe how big he is now, and that he was ever able to do that!

He used to be this small:

Now he's this big:

It's hard for me to get half-Siamese cats to sit still long enough to take pictures. My dog...the beagle? No issues there. She'll stare at the lens until she sees the flash. But my cats are so fidgety and mercurial that they don't sit still for very long when I'm nearby. They always want to be petted and fed, even if they already have a full bowl of food. :p If I can get good pics of my cats I'll post them here, but so far all my attempts have sucked.

I take about thirty pictures of Comet every day so there are a few usable ones among the other millions. :p

My kitty was 6 months old when I got her, so she was actually pretty close to being full grown...but she just seemed younger.

KITTEN: THIS IS MY VASE NOW!

Davros' cat is the spitting image of the very first cat I ever had(1977-85). It's eerie. I know tabbies tend to look alike anyways, but this one is like a clone of my first kitty.

My mom just sent me this picture, which I too had never seen before. So it was a very pleasant surprise. This is me and my son Ian.

Here is my son Ian "lighting" his Menorah last night for the start of Chanukah.

it's worked for my family. we've had several cats in my time and we've always shut them in the kitchen over-night. plus, tiled floor means if the cat pukes or poops off-tray, it's easier to clean up.

the only problem we had was that our last cat Shade would climb on the table or the top of the fridge. we took to covering the table with sheets for her to sleep on and taking the toaster off the fridge and winding the blind up so she could get in the window if she wanted.
