I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. I can't recall having had any specific interactions with him, but I definitely remember seeing his name around here. My kindest condolences to his family and friends.

Whatever happened must have been very sudden. I'm looking at his posting history and he posted here the day before he passed, and the day before that relating a story from work.

Yeah, I noticed that. The last time I heard from him wasn't long before that, and he was fine, talking about plans for the future.
