In Memoriam: Mr. Laser Beam

I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. I can't recall having had any specific interactions with him, but I definitely remember seeing his name around here. My kindest condolences to his family and friends.

This is very, very sad news.

I never interacted with MLB much but I always enjoyed his posts and found them interesting to read through so many years. He was a part of our TrekBBS community for such a long time, he definitely leaves a big hole.

I was always amused by his location, "In the visitor's bullpen".

Thanks for letting us know @Tora Ziyal.

I was shocked to learn a few days ago that he died back on April 14. I don't know any details.
I just looked and he was posting like normal up to April 13, suggesting it was sudden and unexpected :(

EDIT
Just saw TT's post. I hadn't gotten to page 3 yet :(
Whatever happened must have been very sudden. I'm looking at his posting history and he posted here the day before he passed, and the day before that relating a story from work. :(

I was very sad to hear about this. He seemed like a nice guy. I know he didn't live close to it (I believe he was from Nebraska?) but he really loved NYC, and both the Yankees and Mets (and obviously just baseball in general). I know he was a huge Liverpool FC fan, too.

Rest in peace, sir. You'll never walk alone.

How did I manage to forget Liverpool?! 🔴
