Truly pathetic efforts from Red Sox pitching this series. They might actually pitch their way out of a spot in the playoffs.

Oh don't panic man. Their Magic Number is 3, and they are playing Toronto and Cleveland next, at home. Even from the lineups put out there this weekend, the Red Sox didn't take this weekends series as a huge event. They will be fine.

Edit, there number is 2. TB fucking beat the Rangers today. Last thing I knew they were loosing 6-0!

WOOT!
Michael Bowden ain't helping. Beckett had better get that back worked out soon.

Holy crap. Boy do Bowden and Hunter Jones suck.

And they make the game final due to rain just as the Sox are on the verge of a comeback. I'm not counting this one.

The Tigers/Twins game was postponed due to rain today. There will be a day/night doubleheader tomorrow to make it up. Thats a big day of baseball...

GRAND SLAM! Way to go Robinson Cano! :techman:

I bet Luke Hochevar is really choking on all the runs he's been giving up lately, whether it be against Yanks or Red Sox.

Well, despite the loss, the Sox look set to take their magic number to 1 with the Angels dominating the Rangers so far.

Found this through icanhascheezburger.com (in the sports section):

Yep. :( (Is that even a Mets player? Hard to tell. Color is off.)

After that loss to the Nats last night, KM, I caught Mr. Met passed out midway through a line of blow.

They really suck don't they.

Ya I was at that game last night...wasn't happy.

Thanks to a couple of wild pitches in the 10th inning, the Twins won the first game of the double header and are only one game out (at least for a few hours). With the extra innings in the early game, relief pitching may be a big factor in tonight's game.

Buchholz, you're killin' me! :cardie:

EDIT: The Sox rally but come up short...again. Fucking pathetic. Just punch the damn ticket already!

Tigers get the second game of the series, and push their lead back to two games. I don't know if anyone outside of my and Peg are paying this race any attention, but there were a couple of really good games today.
