At one point in the show can you say that you felt you grew attached to the characters? I thought bringing a new lead actor in S2 might help bring a certain spark to the ensemble, but I still struggled to care about anyone.
Frankly? Season 1. Within the first handful of episodes. I gave all my fresh thoughts about each episode right after I watched them in my DS9 Re-Watch Thread which doubles as a B5 First-Watch Thread. So, I can look back at those posts to trace exactly when I became attached to them, but I do remember it didn't take very long.

how in sacrificing angels the prophets saved sisko from dying and then litterly erased thousends of jemhaddar ships. that was really weak part for me. dident liked it at all. its like imagine in a modern war a god like figure suddenly erases entire armies. its plot armor but in the worst way possible. i would prefer if they couldent detonate the minefield instead. at least it was built up on real warfare strategy. this felt like age of mythology kind of thing
Well, there were arguably godlike forces involved; how close the parallel goes or doesn’t go is probably a spoiler.
As of now, I've only seen up to Season 4 Episode 12 for Babylon 5. So, please make sure I can't see anything past that point. Thanks!

Billy Mumy in DS9 Season 7 feels like a cool swap for Majel in B5 Season 3
I thought Sheridan's fleet made up of all the alien races coming to liberate Earth was going to be echoed in the Alliance fleet coming to liberate Cardassia. I really thought "Valiant" was suggesting that we would see Ferengi Marauders fighting alongside Starfleet
The Vorlon fight in B5 Season 4 and the Prophet/Pah-Wraith fight in DS9 Season 7 seemed like similar looking special effects
Sisko and Sheridan to me share a similar bittersweet ending with their fates involving sacrifice and being hinted before the finale, "War Without End/The Sacrifice of Angels" Both die at different points by falling in a big hole.
I get what JMS was going for with the destruction of B5 in the finale but I love the counterpart of just pulling out of of DS9 in a long shot, like the crew might change but the station endures
