Audacious plan on Tyrion and Daenerys' part. A damn shame Euron had to get in the way. I was really looking forward to finally seeing Casterly Rock.
Sad to see the Sand Snakes killed off, although I suppose there's a chance that Tyene and Ellaria are still alive after....
Most likely as they were not killed outright.. it seems Euron's Ironborn knew exactly who they were and the fact that they didn't slit their throats outright suggests to me that they were under orders to take these high value targets as prisoners.
Sorry that Theon reverted back to his cowardice at his sister's greatest need. I'm surprised Euron didn't kill her right there and then, although was that suppose to be her hanging from the bow? I couldn't tell because the effects were so dark.
I think it was the 2 dead Sand Snakes.. the one with the Spear and the one with the Whip. What i wonder is that the Martells are known for their use of poison and poisoning their weapons.. Oberyn Martel once only scratched a guy with his Spear during combat and he died later due to poisoning. Euron received a few scratches.. that would be a cool scene for him to die of poison a few days later (though i doubt it).
Cersei's silver tongue continues to get heavier although I suspect some people aren't completely buying her exaggerated claims.
Yeah.. Noblemen who have truly earned their title (on top of being born to it) can think and see for themselves and put two and two together.. it remains to be seen if they are greedy enough to put their eggs in Cersei's basket.
How sweet to see Grey Worm and Missandei taking a moment to comfort and pleasure each other on the eve of his departure. Hm, speaking of which...I hope he didn't die during Euron's attack.
Yes that was a very nice scene.. i may have went a little "Awwww.." but since i saw the episode on my own i can deny any unmanliness

I don't think so.. the Unsullied mission is to take Casterly Rock and the Martells are to take King's Landing. SInce Ellaria and the Sand Snakes were on board i assume Yara was the one to sail them there for the siege.
Good on Sam to try to save Jorah even when the Archmaester had given up and cast aside the forbidden technique, although I'm surprised that the method that Sam discovered wasn't the alluded dragonglass cure we talked about after last week's episode. Maybe that will come to play later?
I thought he'd rather have his ass whooped or even expelled since the knowledge he gained was from books that were locked away.. his Maester apparently didn't pick that up. Poor Jorah.. Sam barely removed 10% of that Greyscale and it nearly killed him

I hope Sam succeeds (i think he will) and he gets to write his own book on treating Greyscale (maybe refine the technique and put people under narcotics before cutting off skin?).
Coming back to the beginning, I really loved the heavy exchange of words between Daenerys and Varys about his loyalties. Poor Tyrion kept trying to defend his friend and kept getting railroaded. Also love Daenerys' put down on Varys after he called out Melisandre's past allegiances.
Yes, that was a spot on put down (or rather ripping a new anal exit).. Varys is a political schemer and he thrives on it and is not truly loyal to anyone or anything and Dany called him on it. I wonder why it happened only now?
He certainly proved himself a capable servant to Dany but then again he was also capable under the Mad King and Robert.. Dany both earned his loyalty there but also put the fear of God (or rather Fire) into him.. she certainly has come a long way from season 1 as a timid and frightened girl who was just discovering how to control and direct men.
Very sweet indeed, although I was sad that Nymeria didn't stay with Arya. And it looks like she's heading to an even bigger reunion, if only with Sansa. Who knows if she'll ever get to see Jon Snow.
I really hope so.. she will at least meet Sansa and Jon is surely to return to Winterfell, it remains to be seen if Arya is then still around or if she set off to get to Cersei (how easy will that kill be since she can basically impersonate anybody and knowing Cersei is a near alcoholic?

).
I was a little taken aback at how hard and seemingly uncaring she has become.. here she meets a good friend after years and she just munches down on her food and give off very short answers. I hope meeting her family will thaw her a little and she regains some of the humanity she has lost over the years.
Anyway.. a great episode again full of good character moments but still setup for the most part. It was a nice twist that not all of Dany's plans work out the way they are intended. So i didn't expect to see her fleet destroyed (and most likely much of the Dorne army) which may be first blood for Cersei. This may force her to be more aggressive than she intended. The Dothraki were not mentioned during the strategy meeting and i wonder why.. that is a shock army best suited for massive attack but they are very wrong for siege missions so when will they be put into action?
It's like Murphy's Law of Combat states.. "No plan survives first contact!"
