Arrow - The Final Season

Wasn't it mostly the outer rim of the island? I mean we only know from what we saw from the Boat, but I would have liked a better explanation for why there didn't seem to be any evidence of a bomb rather than what we got. Also, it's been 2 years, which seems too short a time to grow any kind of vegetation.

They seemed to be saying that the "energy spike" Novu's device tapped into was responsible for resurrecting the ghosts and restoring the island along with them. I guess it's some kind of phenomenon distorting time and/or reality, which is why it's useful to the Monitor, but they could've explained that better. They seemed to be just going through the motions with a lot of this, like they're just marking time before finally getting on with the Crisis.

I'm wondering how Oliver being the Spectre is going to play into the Arrow series finale because there's absolutely no way they'll end Arrow without its star.

^ Stephen Amell is not going to sit out the series finale; it just isn't going to happen.

Especially since they got Emily Bett Rikards to come back for the series finale. Why would they bring back Felicity and not use their lead role. It feels like the series has been saying goodbyes this season, and the Finale will allow us to see a proper goodbye given to Felicity and that relationship.

^ Emily returning for the series finale likely centers around Felicity and Oliver's 2040 reunion being depicted onscreen instead of just being described.

It's logic.

Don't get me wrong, but I don't really care about logic when it comes to non confirmed speculation. If it's true, kudos to you. If not, also cool.

*EDITED TO SAY* I haven't see the Flash episode yet, don't get in here untill tomorrow. Maybe there's something in there that will make it more logical for me.

From what I've read Amell will appear in just two of the remaining three episodes. He won't be in the penultimate episode which is the Green Arrow and the Canaries backdoor pilot.

Here's the Guggenheim tweet that confirms that:

What's hilarious to me is that fans are assuming the Arrow 2040 spinoff is confirmed as greenlit when even Marc Guggenheim says - "It's a backdoor pilot" (meaning it's not greenlit or a sure thing ion any way; THUS, given the general response of the Arrow fanbase on that tweet thread (and elsewhere), I'd say:

"Don't worry about it as it's probably already DOA..." ;)

Has there ever been an Arrowverse backdoor pilot that The CW didn't pick up? Of course they have to go through the formalities, but The Flash and Batwoman had to go through the same process before getting officially greenlit.

Calling something a backdoor pilot says nothing about its chances of success. It merely refers to a pilot that's done as an episode (or episodes) of an existing series, like Arrow's "The Scientist"/"Three Ghosts" for The Flash or "Elseworlds, Part 2" for Batwoman, rather than a pilot done as a separate production like Supergirl's pilot episode.

There's a first time for everything. I think it's safe to say I'm looking forward to the 2040 show more than most (It was one of my favorite parts of last season.), but even I'm a little skeptical it will be fully greenlit - especially with Stargirl now airing on CW. Even if it's technically a DCU series, that's still a lot of DC to air on one network.

I wish they would spread these out to Fall, Spring and SUmmer seasons, with a limit of 3 per season. I think some of the lower rated shows would get more viewers that way

Hasn't stopped them before. After all, the "W" in the network's name stands for Warner Bros., which owns DC.

Stargirl is being aired on CW as a way of offsetting the production costs, and will have zero effect on whether or not Green Arrow and the Canaries and Superman and Lois get picked up.

Chances are better than not for both series, though, given the general response to the rest of the Arrowverse.

This image has bugged me for seven years. It was often used on my DVR On Demand menu for Arrow

Why does this look more like Colton Haynes than Stephen Amell???????
