ooh, Thor vs the Necromongers! To be fair, there's probably only so many ways to depict these things but it just feels like been there done that. I'm not a big fan of that nu Clash of the Titans/Conan/etc look.

Anyway, at this point I'm just getting sick of hearing the term "LMD," so I really, really hope Coulson isn't one. I mean, as I may have said already, it would be boring if the big, deep, dark secret were exactly the thing that everyone guessed from the word go. (Cf. "John Harrison.") It's just so obvious a thing to suspect that I have to feel they're really planning something else.

If I had to guess at this juncture then I'd say LMD/android. Comics readers may be very familiar with the term LMD, but to a more mainstream audience it exists solely as a kind of Checkov's Gun from Tony Stark's quip in the Avengers movie.
