As for the show I thought it was good but started loose steam in the later seasons. They went from dealing with international crimes to American gangsters every week it seemed.

Next week is the finale. I'm hoping we might bring back the aliens from Episode 5 that were teased. This season has gone pretty quickly.

He can bring in a big movie director for a Trek movie. Let Kurtzman just do the tv stuff.

Or he could clean house with most of their talent except Taylor Sheridan and I assume a strong desire to work with Tom Cruise and bring in all brand new people.

You could still define it as something called a soul in Star Trek without it actually being one. Katra was very controversial when STIII came out.

Yeah, don't remember any controversy per se. Sure, you're going to trigger some fans with any new concept in Trek and make them post screeds on how both the franchise and basic science have been slandered in the most recent movie or episode, but that's just any old day of the week with Trekkies.

It's not like "soul" transfers hadn't been used in TOS. "Return To Tomorrow" "Turnabout Intruder" But Trekkies are known for their selective memories. :lol:

They literally moved Picards "Soul" from his old "Biological Body" into the new "Golem Body".

So it's portable to a limited degree, in the right situations & circumstances.
