I'd be surprised if RMB still has gaskets left.
And the bad news?I'll bet RMB blew a gasket over this one.
He probably bleated about it at length online somewhere. And the bad news?![]()
If you're going to insult me why even discuss anything?So...one entry out of how many?
Cognitive distortion is real with a bias towards the negative.
Yeah hardly. If a Trek writing team was judged/fired by ONE bad episode, the entire writing staff of TNG should have been fired after The Naked Now and definitely Code of Honor. Why would I. They are ruining the legacy of tos by trying to replace it. Its good to be aware of that.
Not in my opinon. Its obvious.
I'm not sure if the writers are trying to replace Star Trek; it's more like they view Star Trek as a cultural mythology to remix and revisit in increasingly insular, claustrophobic ways. Why would I. They are ruining the legacy of tos by trying to replace it. Its good to be aware of that.
Mine has started changing 'of' to 'if' even if, yes, if, the sentence makes absolutely no sense. WTF?I refer to autocorrect as autowrong. It doesn't know your intent and automatically makes mistakes.
An observation of cognitive distortions is not an insult. Humans deal with them every single day, and bias towards the negative is perhaps the most common. If you're going to insult me why even discuss anything?
Indeed, yes.Yeah hardly. If a Trek writing team was judged/fired by ONE bad episode, the entire writing staff of TNG should have been fired after The Naked Now and definitely Code of Honor.![]()
Anson Mount copies his (Gene Roddenberry's) mannerisms and enjoyment of alcohol.
I wrote earlier that I thought he was more like Brannon Braga in dress and nervous energy, but I don't think that was intended. But did anyone get any kind of Roddenberry imitation from Mount?
The notion of a Hollywood writer hitting the bottle is a novel one and could not be a coincidence.![]()
He was definitely an amalgam character. I thought there were elements of Harlan Ellison in there too. And even elements to his story that were reminiscent of other writers, producers, and actors who had been forced to part ways with Trek.Sorry, Mount's character doesn't sound anything like Roddenberry to me.
And he's a dead ringer for Isaac Asimov.
