Spoilers Strange New Worlds General Discussion Thread

TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT and SNW feel like Star Trek.
PIC and DIS do not.
Star Trek should always feel like Star Trek bcs it is Star Trek. It doesn't matter story and era. Star Trek has it's own fundamental concept. TOS and DS9 are different, but ther Trekkiness is the same.

In Stamets and Culber's case, they're not directly subordinate to each other and are in different departments. They're also of equal rank. So guess that works better.
They were also a couple long before both being assigned to Discovery.
As I've stated previously, it's not their fault Star Fleet saw fit to post them to the same ship.

Star Trek is many things to many people. You can have your own opinion about the Star Trek you prefer but frankly so can everyone else. You don’t get to be the arbiter of the level of Trekness for me as much as I can for you. (Whatever the hell Trekness is.)

Oh, someone should make a thread to discuss what Trekiness is and why certain things do or don't feel like Star Trek!

(Strange New Worlds currently has a lot of Trekiness).
