Seriously anybody is interested in finding out that Picard was from an abusive family? What a pathetic way to take the character at the end of the journey.

"Family(TNG)" established his brother Robert was a jealous bully who liked to pretend he was the guardian of the family's legacy and "Tapestry(TNG)" showed us that his father Maurice could be a scolding and disapproving man who didn't want Jean-Luc to enlist in Starfleet.

Well he needs to a descendant so we have the Soongs in ENT and TNG
Right, but we've got Kore for that. Though...I wouldn't be too surprised if the fan-theory that the Soong males are all cloned off the same genetic info gets hinted at before the end of the season. It parallels interestingly with the audience being shown all of the previous Kore iterations, all the female Soongs, being identical to each other as well.

Well Picard does grow his own grapes... regarding that, why can't Rios just grow his own tobacco? Are people in Trek so coddled by replicators that they don't know how to put a seed in the ground? Or are seeds and condiments like sugar extinct?
Rios lives on ships and doesn't have a farm...?

This week, we received another interesting episode, which was entertaining to watch and well acted thoroughly. It wasn't really an action episode, but had that kind of energy going on with it. Frakes once again proves that he has a great visual eye, that shot of Agnes walking in the city was a beautiful one.

Speaking of Agnes, I'm glad they have given Alison Pill her time to shine, she has become my favorite character this season from this show. It might come with a expense of few other characters, but it's definitely worth it. I can see where the story is going now, and I'm exited to see the last four episodes.

8/10. The lowest score from me this season, but still going strong.

Sounds like I’m the only one finding this season tedious

I’ve stopped and started this episode and still not through it

Didn’t know what to with Dhaj so we made her Kore. Elnor is the action superhero from season 1, don’t know what to do with him, kill him off temporarily. Get Brent Spiner back as yet another Soong. Picard is 80 but it’s ok that he’s hitting on Laris-who-isn’t-Laris who is about 45. Plus Picard struggles to say his lines above a hoarse, slow whisper. Unfortunately he’s a shadow of what he was.

Not quite as bad as The Book of Boba Fett but getting there

Can’t wait for Strange New Worlds

nope, me too. Im surprised that everyone in these parts seems to be enjoying it. Im happy for them - I wish I was getting something out of it.

Maybe Kurtzmann-Trek isn’t for me anymore. I’ve been getting into stupid arguments on the socials defending Disco and Picard from the angry hordes since Disco started, but now I think I’m switching sides. Discovery this season was hilariously awful - cloying, insipid, dull. The first two episodes of Picard were astonishingly good but since then it just feels like a waste of time.

Everyone looked nice in their ball gowns and suits though, so I’m glad the cast are having fun.
