I don’t mind the new twist. The voting only gives someone slight advantages. It’ll be interesting to see how the voting turns out and how identity politicky it turns out.

I’m glad nobody is coming back this season, at least not before the jury house.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with cookout members being mad at Tiffany. It seems it’s only DF and Asa and everyone else wants unity. DF is more of an emotional player than I thought.

It’s kind of amazing nobody has done the math yet. They saw what happened to Aryan Aaryn and won’t even take the risk of being seen that way.

Oh, it will. And since it text-based, I couldn't affect it even if Canadians were allowed to, since I don't own any device that sends texts.

Besides, they just evicted the person I wanted to win. The rest of them can go to hell, except maybe Claire.

So... Tiffany advocates to keep Christian, then votes him out.

Derek F and Azza act like bullies when Tiffany wants a private conversation with Brittini...

Good grief. That would drive me nuts.

DerekF can go NOW. Azza could have gone first. Brittini should have gone already (I don't like people who gloat too much), and she can just stop whining every time she's nominated, given how many times that dentist guy was on the block (I don't remember his name).

Okay, so I guess at this point I'll root for Claire. So far she doesn't seem to be offensive in some way, including lying to people's faces.

I didn't care much for Christian just because I at least concur with Frenchie on 'Meatheads'.

Right now I mostly like Xavier, Derek X and Sarah Beth, but also wouldn't mind if Tiffany or Kyland won. Whatever the racial motivations for voting them out, the people evicted so far are your usual gutter of vain 20 year olds and a crazy 40 year old.

Alyssa has to be one of the most boring houseguests they've ever found. She'll be even mores because she won't be around Christian.

I also don't care much for Sarah Beth and I really wanted to like her for being the "weird" candidate.

Tiffany played this way too hard for no apparent reason. She was playing smart, but then shot herself in the foot by going on a power trip. Yes, Azah and especially Derek F could've played it cooler and just talked to Britini afterwards, but aggravated the situation. I don't know what they are thinking considering neither of them are going to win a comp and may be brought to the end to be Gina Marie'd.

Britini is in the same boat as her teammates. She isn't going to win this game unless its a protest vote against whomever is sitting in the other chair.

My preferred winners in no particular order are: Derek X, Xavier, Claire and Hannah.

Why Hannah? I haven't noticed her being extremely good at anything but smirking.

One more reason I’m rooting for the cookout. All the white people other than SB are either vain, annoying or game clueless.

The voting public also picked mostly cookout members.

I usually hate the coup de tat but having it as a known entity weeks in advance makes it more interesting,

    I forgot today was Sunday.

The writ was dropped for a federal election next month, so I'm apt to be a bit foggy and probably cranky. We so did not need this.

I'll catch up on the TV website.

I don't watch the live feeds personally, but there are sites like Hamster Watch that have people relaying what's on them. From that, I've gleaned that Hannah has been sitting back and watching the pandemonium instead of getting involved in it, taking notes.

Britini was one of the 100 winners.

I had to laugh at how Tiffany's 3 drinks literally crashed (not burned, but you get what I mean).

Azah: Shut up. You whine too much.
Britini: Shut up. You're a loudmouth.
Derek F.: Shut up. You're obnoxious.

Unless they've been doing bad stuff that is only on the live feeds, right now I am rooting for Claire or Derek X. I would not object to Xavier winning, either.

I like Derek X but don't care for Claire. She's not a bad person, she's just game clueless.

Brittani and Derek X were two of the 100s, but the other 100 and the 75s were Xavier, Derek F, Tiffany and Kyland.

Claire was smart enough to take the reward that would guarantee her safety long enough to at least be on the jury. Not all of them would have been that smart, still being in the mental place of "gotta protect my TEAM/ALLIANCE!".

Azah reminds me of one of the players in the season with Evil Dick and his obnoxious daughter, Danielle. There was a player (I think her name was Amber) that season who was constantly crying and wailing over the fate of one of her friends. Every Diary Room session she'd turn on the waterworks, or there would be at least one clip of her crying and bawling because somebody was MEAN to her friend. I'm not sure, but this might be the season that coined the word "Whaamberrrr!" (however you spell it; Amber's always crying about something.

Britini reminds me of a cross between Danielle (the first time she played; she'd actually grown up by the second time) and the dentist guy who went up as a pawn multiple times before finally getting evicted. The thing is, the dentist vented his frustrations in the Diary Room but was smart enough not to make a big emotional display outside of that private space.

Britini? Yelling, stomping, shouting, crying... I will be so glad to see her gone, and wish they'd managed it earlier.

Brittani's the one who said she was on the autism spectrum right? Unless I'm totally misremembering the original intro, for that reason I have a soft spot for her. Although it's kind of unhelpful in a game of social nuances.

Asa's an emotional player who just doesn't understand the game but strikes me as a good person IRL.

She seems to be holding herself together much better than many of the non-spectrum houseguests. She must know that being on the block is part of the game, and I get that she probably thinks everyone hates her except Azah and one or two others... but if she's at all aware of how this game works, she must realize that people who are too loud - as in complain, whine, and cry too much - eventually go home because even their friends/allies have had enough.

I'm not saying she isn't a good person. But she can't play Britini's game for her. Only Britini can do that.

Okay, I need to be sure I understand this: The Cookout is Xavier, Tiffany, Kyland, Azah, Hannah, and Derek F.? And the non-Cookout are Claire, Sarah Beth, Alyssa, Britini, and Derek X.? Have I missed anyone?

The cookout is a function of melanin, yes.

This could be a pivotal week in the game. SB’s last chance to figure out the Cookout. And the 125 game will almost certainly be used so one of the nominees could just be random.

Well, thank goodness Derek X is figuring it out. He just realized that there are no white men in the house anymore.

I’m worried what happens if a race war ignites.

Even if SB figures it out it may not be enough. A few people in the Cookout will probably be able to afford the roulette.

Well, I am not sorry to see Britini go. It's about time. Now she has a jury house all to herself to yell and cry and stomp around in, at least until next Thursday.

This whole situation is reminding me of the first season of Survivor. Pagong never realized what was going on until there were too few of them to even try to do something about it.

The Cookout = Tagi and the rest of them never even realized until it's too late.

They've made it very clear that they are not going to let a white person, or even Derek X. win. And of course the non-Cookout people will have to be careful of what they say, because I can see where at least one of them might decide to play the "race card" and throw unfounded accusations around (I'm really not fond of Derek F. due to the bullying he was doing a few episodes ago).

I wonder if this is how the casting department and the producers envisioned things playing out, or if the reality is very different in the live feeds vs what we're shown on TV. I'm guessing things can't be that bad, or it would be all over social media by now.

So here are my 3 top preferences (would be happy with any of them winning):

    Derek X.
    Claire
    Sarah Beth

I would not be happy with either Azah or Derek F. winning. They're floaters and don't really do anything.

I’d honestly be happy with anyone but Asa or Alyssa at this point.

I don’t think there’s any actual racists in the house this year. They learned their lesson after BB15. The Cookout is not anti-white, they’ve just spent their lives seeing people who look like them usually lose out. The others are not anti-black, they’re just pro winning. No “Ask/axe” jokes, no Aryan Aaryn. But they still want to win and doing so will mean targeting the alliance against them.

From an optics standpoint though it’ll look like race against race.

My order of preference at this point:

    Xavier
    Tiffany
    Derek X
    Kyland
    Derek F
    Sarah Beth
    Hannah
    Claire
    Asa
    Alyssa

As long as the person who wins has a name that doesn’t start and end with A I’m good.

Sarah Beth "I think I'll target Derek X cause he's smarter than me."
Derek X "Hey, do you think maybe Xavier, Tiffany, Kyland, Derek F, Asa and Hannah are all working together?"
    Audience "Yup."

Even if Claire gets vetoed, at this point SB will probably go after DX. It's amazing how oblivious Sarah Beth and Alyssa still are. At least DX and Claire are kinda starting to catch on.
