I'm starting to think that someone from the Cookout is absolutely going to win.
They already nearly have the majority. And also a layer of protection of nobody else wanting to risk being accused of racism on national TV by suggesting they're all working together.
Hopefully the players most likely to go there are already gone. You know Frenchie and Brent would have.
I don't have a good enough read on the women yet to predict if any would make an issue of it.
It's actually funny how some of the men are worried about an all-women's alliance. In all the years of watching these CBS reality shows, the only time I remember that actually working was on Survivor, and that was just once. The winner of that season was so good at manipulating the men that one of them just said, "Tell me what to do. I'll vote however you say." By that time he wasn't even trying (I think that was Troyzan? I might be confusing him with one of the others).
Xavier is my current pick to win. Besides being obviously smart and charismatic, I remember that scene about ironing the paper towel just appreciating the humor of trying to act natural. He probably could have won even in the 22 seasons with only one black person and now he’s in the first diverse season with a five person force field.
Tiffany’s probably the smartest player but doesn’t have the top tier charisma of Xavier.
Christian is an interesting HoH winner. Because the Cookout/Royal Flush shared members will be trying to nudge him away from Hannah without saying why.
Based on skill and charisma, Xavier definitely has a better chance than Tiffany. But even with skill, charisma, and great acting with a sense of humor, Xavier can always be the victim of sheer bad luck in one of the competitions that has an element of chance - especially in the final competition, when there's much less opportunity to make the case that he should be the one who's kept and the other should be the one sent to the jury.
Christian is someone who seems likeable, but I find myself distracted by his constantly-changing hairstyle. Just pick one, already.
Though I suppose that it helps pass the time. I have long hair and occasionally braid it or put it in a ponytail. But the braiding is out of boredom as I've been staying at home for the past year and a half, and the ponytail is so it doesn't get in the way of cleaning the cat box.
I think the reason given for booting Christian (I'm pretty sure he isn't winner material unless he accidentally coasts into the final 3) will be that he's one half of a showmance, and if he and Hannah are on the block together, her alliance(s) have the numbers to get rid of him.
