Trying to guess at the shock reveal. It'll have to be something brief that they can flash on the screen at the end and is shocking on face value. Perhaps encountering an aggressive Federation starship from a decaying era? Not sure.

Too soon, just too soonRiker as 'Chef'
Honestly I can see some consolidation in the future, but what that is, who knows, and whether combined streaming services will make more money than individual services is also up for debate? Some small services appear to be doing fine, while a giant like Hulu loses more than a billion dollars every year and its losses actually tripled between 2016-2018 from .5 to 1.5 billion a year. Success really depends on how successful one is in their market niche, IMO.
I hope this episode is good. If it makes last week's episode pointless I will be kinda mad.
They really need to 'stick the landing' on this one. TPTB flub this one and I'm not sure a lot of folks will return for season 3.Same here. A lot of 2-part finales (not just ST but many shows) have good setup penultimate episodes and fail at the payoff. I hope this one doesn't fall in that category.

I doubt it will as we know whats to come lolI hope Control wins.
I'm hoping it is!I want it to be a backdoor pilot for a Star Trek:Captain Pike series.
I will also do the same. If everyone did this, there would be much more incentive for CBS to have multiple Star Trek shows running year round. After this evening, I'll say goodbye to CBSAA again for a while. LOL
