"Our Spock" won't show up until WNMHGB probably because of the Red Angel

He’s our Spock, and this is the prime timeline until said otherwise by a writer or producer.

So far nothing has said these alterations never happened in the prime timeline.

The HD version on CBSAA of THE CAGE, uses the original vfx of the Enterprise, not the Remastered CGI version.

I don’t think so, she still has a split badge, and DSC style division colouring.

Also the two security guards appear to be wearing Mirror Universe uniforms, just with Starfleet insignia

I mentioned this upthread, but yes, I agree with your take on this. The reaction was disproportionate. Particularly because Spock knows why she said it. Michael was misguided but had good intentions--all of which he understood.

Although, I'm willing to buy into it for the sake of the story. And, noting that it reinforces the other bullies helps buying into it.

Agree that it's a weak spot within a good story. I think the fact the conflict was hyped up and made mysterious throughout the season helped make it a bit of a let down.

Her outfit very much seems to be a precursor to this...

    Zeroth timeline?

    Naked Timeline?

I did say ""Maybe" the prime timeline" because of mostly your reasons.

Although what a writer/producer says, does not create canon.

If they have to tell us IRL, what they forgot to tell us on camera, when they were making their show, then they suck and we can't trust them to know what is right for Star Trek.

I think the reason why they didn't use the Enterprise from 'The Cage' is because the underside dome on the saucer was not defined enough and did not show up well against the black background. It makes it appear as if a piece is missing and it glaringly stands out. Not as bad in the first shot here, but not good in the other two:

Yes to her and most critically thinking individuals. Her perspective, as judge deciding a case, using a reasonable man standard (not the "wildly fantastically unique individual" standard) that allows things such as "if it doesn't make sense then it's a lie" to be a truism. Given what we have been presented over 53 years or so with Spock … Discovery's interpretation does not add up. It feels manipulated and contrived in the instance of Spock and Burnham.

Again, I am not damning the show over it. It is a patch of bad writing. No series is perfect and we must take the bitter with the sweet.

I think it was a well written, well acted and well executed scene. YMMV.

"Most critically thinking individuals"....how is that determined? By poll of a small number?

Generalizations seldom work as well as we are led to believe. They cause many problems and perpetuate many fallacies.

At least in this latest episode he was addressing Burnham when he said 'Commander.' He was looking directly at her. I'd have to rewatch the previous week, but I'm sure it was the same since Spock was unconscious when Leland was in the room.

How could they explain something like that on screen?

How does someone in universe say “Don’t worry, it’s still the prime timeline”, without breaking the fourth wall?

Have someone say it’s a predestination paradox? That these time travel events always happened, are supposed to happen.

In re-watching 2x03 today, I notice that Michael tells Amanda she barely got past the outskirts of Shi'Kahr when she ran away. If you look at a map of Vulcan, I think it's pretty safe to say that she barely ventured into Vulcan's Forge either, judging by the distances involved. So the concern for there being foliage in the place where she is picked up needn't be that big a deal. Judging by her statement, it's more likely she was at the very perimeter of the desert, not deep inside it.

Has anybody talked about the little robots cleaning up after the Tyler-Culber fight? Because there were freaking robots cleaning up the ship.

I don't recall seeing that before.
