Nah, the Halkan homeworld needs to survive so Mirror Kirk can be ordered to destroy it.The torpedo blasts seen here were actually less impressive than the ones in TNG or DS9 orbital bombardment scenes (in terms of blast radius and propagation speed), although perhaps also a bit more three-dimensional.
Is Harlak the place where folks called the Halkans live? Somebody besides the rebels was living down there at any rate, in high-rise buildings...

Does this make Lorca more Badass(Tm) than the Robau?Well Lorca (if he really is MU Lorca) willingly had himself be put into the agonizer booth knowing full well what it is --- so either MU Lorca is the Bad-Assiest of all Bad-Asses (which might actually be the case), or the agonizer booth is not the be-all end-all of tortures.
No picture, too dark or not seeing the shape of a Connie hull?I don't see anything.
Yes -- I got the distinct feeling that the conversations she had with the rebels on MU Harlak will somehow connect with a way to end the Klingon/Federation war back in the Prime Universe. And Tyler will play a part in it as well. When Voq said something about putting the houses in order, just before Tyler attacked, Burnham's face said she had a spark of an idea.

I thought it might be too big but I'm seen the Connie hull in there.Seems the palace ship is way too big for that horizontal bit to be the saucer of the Defiant. OTOH, the horizontal bit doesn't appear curved to me...

To Robau, the Agonizer Booth = Sleeper's OrgasmatronRobau uses an Agony Booth recreationally.
Well, it’s always fun to watch a prisoner writhe and scream in agony (at least until the vomiting starts), but Lorca is actually in the booth.Robau uses an Agony Booth recreationally.
After talking about the Defiant so much, they really need to show it. Would be a cop out if they didn't. The Defiant has to be the force behind the Sato Empress lineage. Of course, at this point in the MU, it might be enshrined inside the palace ship.
Borg or not Borg ENT showed this universe was morally corrupt for its whole history. A 23rd century Picard would not be like the TNG one. It’s highlighted in some of the novels that this is a universe where the Borg do not exist. Because of that, First Contact wasn’t threatened by them and hence no reason for Picard to come back and explain to Cochrane that the aliens that come are peaceful. Hence why he killed them thinking they were a invading force.
Yeah, the fact that Saru immediately had Ash arrested and confiscated the intel gives a pretty clear indication that Burnham had told him someway about what had happened and her plan for getting them the disk.Presumably, Burnham sent them a message - we saw they were in touch.
