Another enjoyable episode. I expected Stamets to be emperor, but Georgiou was second choice.

Poor Burnham. Her Klingon spy boyfriend turned heel on her and now she's probably gonna have to kill the likeness of her former mentor and best friend. At this rate she's gonna be proper emo by season 2.

Gave it an 8. Very good episode this week. Discovery is firing on all thrusters... I'm glad that they wrapped up the Ash/Voq thing. I really thought they were going to kill Ash off when they showed him floating in space. I was pleasantly surprised when he was beamed back to Discovery and Burnham hiding the data disk with him was very clever. I'm hoping they keep Latif around for season 2. His character has really grown on me.

As usual, Issacs, Jones and Wiseman did a great job. SMG did a great job this week as well. Burnham really felt like she was taking charge and her scenes with Latif at the end when he reveals himself as Voq were very well done.

While we didn't get a clear shot of Empress Georgiou's ship, it didn't feel like it belonged in the MU, at least to me. All of the Terran Empire tech seems to be an exact match to Starfleet/Federation tech (ships, weapons, computer consoles, etc...). Her ship doesn't seem like something Starfleet would build, so I don't understand why the TE would build it. I guess that would be my only complaint, albeit a very, very minor one...

So are Spock and Sarek best buddies in this universe, considering they go to the same barber? ;)
