I believe my first theatrical Trek viewing was TWOK, though I was only two years old and remember nothing. My brother was being born right around then and my dad went to see it and took me along. Though I don't know the circumstances or if it was before or after the birth (my brother's birthday is the 16th and the movie was released on the 4th). I can easily imagine my mom ordering my dad away for a few hours to give her some space. I assume that's what happened.
After that, the only one I definitely remember was TUC. Which I saw a few weeks into its run when I was 11. And I've seen every other Trek film on opening night ever since.
I did get to see TWOK as an adult in a theater a few years ago; a local theater-pub got hold of an old print and showed it one weekend. It was spectacular. And all the better with beer and pizza! Before the movie they played the trailer for Revenge of the Jedi. I think it was the only one before they changed it to Return.

The refit 1701 was so very impressive and majestic on the big screen.
