What was the first ST movie you ever saw in theaters?

TWOK. Never had more fun in a movie in my life. You thought you were watching a live theater play by the audience reaction. And when Spock was dying...you could hear wimpering in the audience...so many people cried and WERE COMFORTED BY OTHER AUDIENCE MEMBERS. It was amazing.
Generations. I don't usually go to theaters but I really wanted to see the movie and didn't want to wait so I got my mom to take me. I was 14.
The Undiscovered Country was the first one I saw in the theater and I loved it. It was a very emotional experience at the end when the signatures came up with the wonderful score playing. I really got choked up.

My mom and aunt took me and my cousins to TVH. I was five and it was one of the first movies I'd ever gone to.

TMP, opening weekend.
The Undiscovered Country. I believe I've seen every Trek movies in theaters since with the exception of Nemesis, although I am not 100% certain of Insurrection. I think I saw it in theaters but I can't lock down a solid memory of it.
I was old enough to see Generations in theaters (well, I was alive when Undiscovered Country came out, but I was only a few months old), but if I saw it in theaters, I don't remember it. Same goes for First Contact. The problem is my memories of watching the movies on VHS might be blurring with in theater memories. So it's hard to remember which I saw in theaters. I know I saw Nemesis and the two Abrams's films in theaters, and I probably saw Insurrection in theaters (I have a very clear memory of seeing the trailer for Insurrection in theaters).
Star Trek Nemesis. I was 14 at the time. I had never been to a Star Trek Movie in the theaters, and I knew it was the final TNG movie so I desperately wanted to go. After having grown up on FC and GEN reruns on HBO, I though NEM was the greatest thing ever.... Looking back.... well, I mean.... um.... parts of it are watchable?

Rarely! Star Trek V was my first Trek movie on VHS. It was a birthday gift from my parents, and I still have it. I have worn it out, and in certain spots you can't understand the dialogue, but I will hold onto that tape as long as I can. There are reasons why Star Trek V holds a special place in my heart. ♥
