Warehouse 13 renewed for fifth/final seasonfinal

Didn't Eureka's last season feel that way too?

That was due it was cancelled really close to the end of the filming for season 5, their final season. Only so much you can do when the notification is that late in the process.

^^ Yeah, they really only had one episode to tie things up.

I forgot about Valda, too. He's not going to have much time to do anything big or bad. But there's also the possibility that he will learn about what he was like in this timeline and find himself drawn to the light side of the Force.

I actually hope they don't do a coda. That would limit the possibilities for reunion movies.

I really enjoyed both stories, although I was really hoping Claudia's sister would stick around permanently.

Well, she "is" going to be around "permanently", just not in a speaking role. ;)

Since we have so little time left to season 5, I think having a "15 year old" (emotionally) dealing with the murder of her parents and a "30 year old body" would have sucked too much storytelling time away from the other characters.

Also, as smart as Claudia is, it would diminish the effort Artie had put into his research over the last 15 years to save the sister if Claudia "figured it out" the first time she tried.

Its nice to know that Claudia and Artie will now be working together on his project to restore Monica.

Who knows, maybe after all the years of artifact "research" in Paracelsus's timeline, the mysterious Benedict Valda could be the one to give them the answer.

That's a very good point.

Also a very good idea. Or maybe he'll end up with the artifact's power and be placed into a coma. Come to think of it, I wonder why Claudia's sister was put into a coma rather than bronzed.

The Brozed are awake.

Leaving her alone with her madness and grief would have been mean.

Couldn't they take big sis back in time, purple goo the music box, and then take her back tot he future?

Nullification and destruction seem to be quite different.

Nullification by goo must release a "signal" that tells everyone effected to calm the shit down that destruction doesn't.

The bronzed are awake? Then why don't they go insane after a few years? Or months? Or weeks?

Yes, they do go insane, then they get bored and go sane again.

There's an exact quote in 2x01 "Time Will Tell"

H.G. definitely tells Myka and Pete that people who are bronzed are conscious the whole time

Pete: You know, for somebody who's been unconscious for 100 years, you've really held on to some anger.
Helena: Not unconscious Just immobile.
Pete: Oh, right.
Myka: What? You mean while you're bronzed, you're awake? We didn't know that.
Helena: Offers a lady time to think.

Sheriff Carter from Eureka is now the Maytag repairman.

Wtf is up with that? It's one thing for an actor to become a spokesman, but the Maytag repairman? He's better than that!

he is, but are TV people recognizing that? He needs to have a job to pay the bills. the sudden cancellation of Eureka didn't help

Well, he was a recurring character on HAVEN last season, but, yeah, if you're a working actor, you go where the work is.

That would be a pretty major change in the timeline though if you prevent the death of Claudia's parents. Who knows what changes it would make to Claudia and the timeline.

Not to mention what about all the other victims of artefacts, don't they deserve the same time travel rescuing as well?

Interesting. I forgot about that. It seems like the bronzed are usually depicted as having been unconscious.

You misunderstand.

Track down the music box to a point in history before it infected Claire in the year 1999.

Take the present day coma sister to that point in time and space.

Purple goo the music box.

Which will release present day Clare, and still leave time for the artefact to charge up with weirdness and infect Claire further into the future exactly when it supposed to, keeping continuity completely intact.
