Maybe the checks didn't clear from Ford.
And don't forget the time they explained that Bones' publisher had given her a new car because her latest novel had hit the bestseller list. Uh-huh. That happens in publishing all the time.
I got a fruit basket once . . . .
ALIAS and HEROES did some awkward product placement for cars, too. And let's not forget the times SMALLVILLE plugged specific brands of chewing gum and contact lenses.
Greg, I'm wondering: when you wrote your Warehouse 13 novel, did you include the obligatory product placement?
I think that would be hysterical to have in a novel....
My memory is fuzzy, but I think I might have mentioned Myka's fondness for red licorice . . ..
Didn't Artie offer Myka and someone red licorice on this past episode or the previous one?
Finished the last episode ever.
Well that's just a giant crock of endless wonder.
Wait, you got it before it aired?
Episode 505 and 506.
In the usual places.
Sometimes the way this series handles its A/B plots seem as out-of-place as the product placement.
I thought that because of the cancellation, not that it was a surprise, but because they still had so many A plots knocking about, that it's been A/A all the way this year.
Pete is on Castle tonight.
His hair looks real and fine.
Loved Steve's reaction to Pete all episode long, especially at the end.
Myka is clueless.
Just one ep left.
Mrs. Frederick is powerless over something???
Despite the events of the last episode, it looks like they really are moving the Warehouse to China. It's an interesting commentary on our times. The Warehouse seems to have been traditionally placed in a powerful country of the time (usually the most powerful). Following reality, that power is less and less in the hands of the USA and more in China.
I couldn't help watching this as Crowley trying to recover demonic artifacts for his evil plans. Curse you, Mark Sheppard and your ubiquity.
Warehouse 13 was not placed in America because of any military power, it was placed there to hide it because of the world wars and humanity becoming more likely to find it.
1-12 were placed in "empires", which aren't really around anymore, just nations. Warehouse 13 just needed to vanish, kings and power stop mattering.
China wouldn't seem to be a very convenient location, in terms of agents traveling from there to where they need to be. I hope the Warehouse doesn't move there, if it moves at all.
This was another episode that felt very rushed, as if they intended the Mirror Valda storyline to play out over more episodes before they found out they had only six. But at least Clare is okay, and perhaps will be part of the team when the show ends, as I hoped.
Looks like they're waiting till the last second to resolve the Pete and Myka thing.
One more episode. I will miss this show.
You're saying Beijing is LESS convenient than in the middle of nowhere USA?
South Dakota is the middle of nowhere compared to the empty western half of China Warehouse 14 would be?
The idea since 1914 has been to hide it as far away from everyday sight as possible while still allowing the operatives of the warehouse to function. There are a lot of remote areas in China that aren't frequented often, but within a couple of hours travel of cities.
Besides, based on recent episodes, there's obviously some teleport device in use by our favorite agents. They just get around too fast. In some cases they even bring a Prius along.
