Spoilers The Umbrella Academy Season 3

Fun season. I only don't get why Sloane wasn't with the group in the end

 

I have a feeling Sloane will return, but as a darker version of the one we've seen so far. She was almost too nice of a character that it feels like they're setting that up.

 

I've given up on "The Umbrella Academy", especially after this season. I though Season One was interesting. I loved Season Two. But I wasn't happy with Season Three. Not by a long shot.

 

How so?

 

This is just a quick post to say how much I would like Netflix to start releasing series on a weekly basis. I am on episode 5 and enjoying this season a lot, but the really cool thing about this series for me is how much it diverges from the comics. It has so many differences in tone and story from the source material but stands so well on its own.

 

What didn't you like about it?

 

I didn't remember if we had seen the hotel before in the show. It looked like Klaus was familiar with it. Was it in one of the previous seasons?

 

No, this is the first time we've seen it.

 

I really thought the set was digital but from bts pics it looks to be all practical. I blame Star Wars and Trek for making me skeptical of any set bigger than a bedroom being real.

 

Fourth and final season is confirmed!

I can't wait!

I wonder where they'll go with it, so far every season has been the end of the world, can they go back to the well again? You could really feel this one being covid-bound though so it would be nice if the next season opens up a bit.

 

The final season seems to be based on the final comic arc--which I haven't read--so it is cool that they basically get to have adaptations of all the stories in print any way. As for the end of the world, I'm assuming that it will be about bringing about the end of the world we see at the end of season 3.
